How's the running going Dawn? I've kind of enjoyed the first week of the programme even though it's a bit embarrassing when I'm pretty much dying/panting/sweating while other people watch.

As a someone who used to run frequently, I know how you feel trying to get back into it. Sooner or later though, your body will get the message that it needs to keep running and it will respond!

Hi Dawn, great idea about buying a fun piece of kit to motivate me to get out and run. Might have to get some running headphones (I love gadgets). Enjoy the challenge and best of luck. :)

Thanks for the welcome! Thought I would give this a try. I lost about 20 pounds 2-3 years ago simply by becoming a "runner". But between a few really nasty winters here in the UK and losing my motivation I am back where I started. Hoping this gives me the boost I need to at least start walking again.......even if I don't win the pot at least the dog will be happy!
