I do this all the time. Breakfasts and lunches start easy, and then things come up in the evening. My best strategy is to plan for them early on in the week, but that can also be difficult if you have a busy weekend. The other thing to remember is to not let a small setback become a big one. You can get back on track!


When I have an unplanned meal outing I try to order low calorie or at least healthy. I tell myself that eating out is part of life, but I can't let every meal be indulgent when I eat out. Good luck.
