I can't stop binging, even when I know it's detrimental and I'll feel terrible. I'm juggling a lot emotionally right now (we moved to a new state, I'm in the middle of a huge work project, and we had a loss in my family), but would love some advice to turn it around!

This is so tricky and it's going to be different for everyone. I took the intuitive eating approach and it really helped me be ok with not having a perfect diet all of the time. I struggle with all or nothing thinking, so if I tell myself a cookie is off-limits, and then I have one, I don't stop at just one because "I blew it".

If there is a window of time that you are more vulnerable, it is a great idea to find ways to address that.

I also try to ask myself what is one healthy thing I could do now? This could be getting in some movement, swapping the temptation with something else, distracting yourself with self-care, etc.

Thank you all for the ideas and encouragement! I’m on a flight to CA right now for work this weekend and honestly hope the change of scenery will help break this funk!
