Hi! I’m Erin. I have 2 kids and after the second I had a series of complicated abdominal surgeries and ultimately wound up losing my ovaries (and uterus) and going into menopause at 37. I gained some weight after that but had managed to get it mostly off, and then COVID hit. Since then I’ve been struggling to get my binge-eating tendencies under control and I definitely don’t lose weight like I used to. I don’t have a huge amount of weight to lose, maybe 20lbs or so, but it still affects my body image and confidence, plus dropping some of the sugar from my diet can’t hurt me in general.
I have a tummy tuck scheduled in April to deal with the muscle separation from the pregnancies and surgeries (I’ve been trying to fix it with exercise for 8 years and I don’t think it’s gonna happen that way) and I’m hoping to be 10lbs down by then.
Hopefully this will give me enough accountability to motivate me!

Hi there! This picture ⬆ was taken in 2018 after I had lost just over 100 pounds in less than a year!!! I participated in a very high level hiking challenge (Rachel Carson Trail Challenge 35 miles in one day over the most treacherous conditions and elevation changes). I injured my feet a bit and had to rest. Then covid...I lost all momentum as well as my mental and physical game. I gain every pound of that 100 back and 2 or 3 more to spare. On November 1, I received a high cholesterol result and warning from my docs. I had also seen my blood pressure climbing over the past months. Not to mention, after 43 years, I was FINALLY diagnosed with the correct psychological disorder and FINALLY given the right medicine for clarity and dare I say...happiness. Now I am extremely motivated to get rid of as much of those 100 lbs as possible before a trip to ICELAND in October. I am so excited for glacier hiking, ziplining into an ice cave, and finding hidden geothermal spas after a long trek! So, bring it 2024!
