How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

Hi! I’m Erin. I have 2 kids and after the second I had a series of complicated abdominal surgeries and ultimately wound up losing my ovaries (and uterus) and going into menopause at 37. I gained some weight after that but had managed to get it mostly off, and then COVID hit. Since then I’ve been struggling to get my binge-eating tendencies under control and I definitely don’t lose weight like I used to. I don’t have a huge amount of weight to lose, maybe 20lbs or so, but it still affects my body image and confidence, plus dropping some of the sugar from my diet can’t hurt me in general.
I have a tummy tuck scheduled in April to deal with the muscle separation from the pregnancies and surgeries (I’ve been trying to fix it with exercise for 8 years and I don’t think it’s gonna happen that way) and I’m hoping to be 10lbs down by then.
Hopefully this will give me enough accountability to motivate me!
