Well helllllo final DietBet week! Here’s the dealio...no matter how good or “bad” this past weekend might’ve gone in your opinion or in reality, don’t let any of it derail you!

I know the weather is crazy all over and many of us (including our household) is totally derailed out of routine with school closures and schedule chaos. All this can make it even harder to get your workouts in and focus on those healthy food choices…and that’s ok, because it’s called LIFE!

Focus on this last week the best you are able and commit to the best possible (realistic) workouts and results you can...stay real and stay consistent! You got this!💪?💙

  • It was shoulder day today and I woke up later than normal so did the liift more express shoulders to get my workout in because if I don’t do it in the morning I won’t do it at all!

  • Smashing avocados! Week 3 day 5 ✅! Finally seeing some movement on the scale now that my cycle is over. Also, noticing that switching on the negative calorie adjustment in MFP has made a difference. I’m much more sedentary at my desk job and usually see a negative adjustment of 60 calories or so. Also trying to load up on veggies with lunch to keep me full until dinner.

A week ago I have reached my goal weight and have managed to drop about a kg more. I feel motivated to continue, as even with this weightloss I still have 4 more kg to lose.
I have mainly cut back my portions. Initially I have tried working out, but I went to the gym only 2 times due to a minor flue. Going steady and strong! 💪

  • Fat Blast 2026 Calendar workout from LIIFT4 in Week 8 with Legs. Even though I am still sore from the prior legs workout, I pushed play on this legs routine. Oh ouch this one had quite the muscle burn. I am still using lighter weight than I likely could lift because I’m not going to let my weights overtake having great form plus I believe I get more out of each rep by doing it that way. I mean I’ve been so sore since having that approach. Overall, this was another sweaty intense workout. I’ll be feeling that one the next few days.

  • Ice-magedon 2026. Working on the meal plans for Sunday night - mid of the work week. 😬 I hope I’m planning enough meals, proteins, and snacks! Sunday morning gonna be busy in the kitchen. I Hate to have to plan like this, but also blessed to have an office space where I have a mini fridge, futon, and a good set of extra weights (1,5,6,8,12,15,20’s) So close to goal!

Happy Wednesday!

I’m going to keep saying this because I want it to really stick…

Remember that there is a difference between what you’re trying to accomplish during these four weeks of the DietBet vs. what you’re trying to accomplish long term. In trying to lose a specific amount of weight in a specific time, you have to understand that there will be things you HAVE to give up during this time. You KNOW what you should be avoiding…it simply comes down to what’s more important to you. Your brain controls your cravings and you ARE strong enough to say NO! Remind yourself daily, every hour if needed (set an alarm on your phone) WHY you’re doing this.

In taking these next three weeks to work towards or accomplish a specific goal, you’re learning and setting yourself up for sustainable habits after the DietBet is over. We’re not doing this so you can simply go back to what you were doing before…we’re working on changing your behavior and mentality. YOU GOT THIS!!
