  • For the first time ever, went to a broncos game and didn't drink and didn't eat at the stadium. Are beforehand and packed a healthy snack bag with two 32 ounce waters. We can have fun and be good at the same time!!!

Go Broncos!!!! Hi neighbors!!! Thats fun not to give in on snacks and other things that are not good or healthy for our bodies good for you. Plan ahead. I always carry my jug of water with lime with ice. Delicious and a protein bottle just in case or some dark chocolate for the temptation jajaja. Best of luck in your weight loss journey.

Can I vent a bit?? And would love feedback... I find these bets frustrating and maybe because of where I am to my goal. I am 6 pounds from my weight loss goal (not the best goal) and the weight is coming off very very slow. I work out consistently, meeting my step bet goals of 10,000 steps 4 days a week and 12,000 2 days a week and go to Jazzercise at least 3 times a week ....have been very intentional with my eating plan yet the scale is very slow.
I'm thinking that these bets are not for those of us down to the end of our weight loss journey, with much less to lose...
Am I the only one struggling to lose that lose few pounds of their overall weight loss journey? If you are there, would love to hear what you are doing. Thanks

Are you under eating? Or maybe not getting enough protein in? In my personal experience, my weight loss happens faster when I make sure to eat enough protein.

I'm still 30 lbs to goal, but started at over 110+ to lose. First, 6 months were consistent with loss, however the last 2 months have been much harder because I have less to lose and ourbbidies ate extremely efficient at learning even our good routines and adapting to using less. At least 1 or 2 times a month, I will hit a plateau for a week. Im finding that changing something like the one big meal or swapping a different form of exercise for a day or two kick my loss in gear because the body is having to adjust to something different. Just what I've discovered seems to work for me. Good luck! I can't wait to be down to my last few pounds to lose!

Anyone else doing the Step Bet with this challenge? Back to a work schedule and using the week to figure out the best workout schedule to meet the steps and journaling my eating so I can be successful with both!

Iโ€™m not in the actual challenge but I always aim for a minimum of 10,000 exercise steps (not random steps just walking around the house) per day.

Well that was disappointing. Christmas was not good to me. I played a game that ended a week before Christmas and I just weighed in higher than the beginning of that game ๐Ÿ˜ฅ. Here's to a new year.!

  • You still have time to do it Veronica! I lost ~3 pounds by running 7 miles before my weigh in. You still have until ~midnight today to meet your goal. You can do this! As far as resubmitting your weight, not sure what platform you are on, but on Desktop computer resubmitting your weight looks to be pretty easy.
