Great post. While I don't think I suffer from food addiction, I eat a lot of garbage due to social pressure.

thanks for sharing. I am a food addict and when people pressure me, sometimes I just have to say - I am allergic! That usually shuts them up for a while. Sounds like you have a good plan that works for you - good luck!

I know how you feel, but my problem is that I have kids. When I was younger, I stayed thin by barely eating. I have a slow metabolism and unfortunately my body doesn't require much food. Now I have to feed my children all the time of course. It is very difficult to feed them and not eat also. Everything's hard for me because I need such a tiny amount of food. Other people go to a restaurant and order a meal, but I'm realizing that I need just a side order. I know I can't eat much in family get togethers so I try a tiny amount of everything I want to try.
