Thanks for cheering for me. I have been quiet since my dear friend spent the weekend here with us. She had a lovely weekend and seemed to feel better then her last weekend after chemo. I spent the weekend catering to her, playing cards and drinking crystal light lemonade in our fancy glasses! I believe the scale should be my friend tomorrow. Thanks for missing me!

I have a special wine glass. It is an inexpensive one that I marked the 4 oz level on the outside with a marker. This also helps when Geoff pours my wine. Sometimes 6 ounces look like 4 ounces when you really want it to...but.. if there is a mark.. you know what it is..


That's a good idea. I have lots of random wine glasses floating around thatIi could do that with. Though I enjoy the nice glass part of the whole thing, especially if I have to make it last. Maybe find a striped glass and one of the stripes is special. And you know when you get glasses out and they have premarked lines that those probably equal 8 oz! I wonder, now that I think of it.

Hi Joanne - just wanted to say hello I am a friend of Martha as well! We worked together a long time ago (when I was young, fit and not so overweight :-)). This is my 5th dietbet in a row - love this social dieting concept. Good luck!
