Blondie, it's an individual decision, but was a good one for me. I had no complications, but know people who did, and also know people who gained a lot of weight back. My best advice is, to know that it is only an AIDE, or a TOOL, not a magic pill or an easy way out. You must still work on it every single day, as does anyone with an addiction, food or otherwise. Good luck to you! I, personally, would do the bypass 100 times over, I had no problems, and feel it saved my life. The skin removal surgeries, however. were a nightmare.......
