  • Just returned from a 4 night wedding/birthday weekend in Vegas for a friend...couples only, no kids. Was fun to step away from the madness of teenage girls and just reignite with my husband. Ate light, spent time at pool, and had "me" time. Highly recommended if you're feeling in a rut!

Hey Fit Girls....TGIF. Have been offline for tooooo long. Moved to Minneapolis area this winter, changed sales territories and sent a kid off to college. Wow. But the snow is "officially" gone and I'm ready to get back to it. Who else? What do you need today to get going?

This is hard!! After a long day at work I often feel too tired to exercise. Suggestions?

It's super hard for me but working out in the morning as Vegan Warrior said really helps. The initial getting out of bed at 5:40 always kills me but the feeling after is always so great. I feel proud of myself.

How is everybody doing so far? I've been definitely paying more attention to what I eat, I just haven't been so great at working out - need to find a workout that speaks to me, I haven't found anything yet. That's my mission for this week!

Hey everyone! I'm ready to get back in the game. I was doing crossfit on and off for about a year but it led to some new injuries and activation of old injuries. I've been letting this stop be from getting back into my workouts but now I'm ready to proceed...with some caution of course! I want to get back to the shape I was in pre-injuries and eat right to support my workouts. It's going to be tough but hopefully we can all support each other here!

I love this saying! I've always been a firm believer that the scale isn't everything! Here's to a new year and accomplishing all of our goals! As for me I've got a marathon to train for. 3 miles today. 26.2 miles next January!

Hi Ladies - love this saying! If you're new to resistance training or have been lifting for a long time, share your success and struggles here. I'm a mom of 3 teenagers and have found myself sacrificing workouts for their activities. It's time to get a little selfish in order to get back on track. Hope you'll join the Fit Girls.
