So, I'm back from the doctor's office. While I was hoping for a reduction in my pre-diabetes medication, I got one for my thyroid medication instead! I guess my thyroid is kicking into gear a bit with this weight loss and exercise. I haven't had a reduction there, in, well, EVER, so that is pleasing.

My A1C is lower, glucose is normal, cholesterol is actually too low, which I didn't even know was a thing, and that pesky good cholesterol number is only up a smidgen. Oof. It's official - exercise does not boost that number significantly, at least for me. Good results, but I was hoping for better. I'll take it.

What I love is the feeling I'm having lately of wanting to do things. I've been missing this "get off the couch" feeling for a lot of years. I signed up for a tennis class yesterday, and I stopped by the Y today on my way home to check out their new renovation. I'm looking forward to taking some of the exercise out of the house. I'm looking forward to maybe doing a crazy fun run. I'm just... looking forward. That's a great direction to look.

Thank you to everyone who has been so supportive. Making these lifestyle changes is hard work. So hard. But being part of this community makes it a bit fun, too. Love to you all!
