Challenging Myself

This is my very first time Challenging myself to lose weight on Dietbet. I am super excited about this Opportunity. My goal in doing this is just to become a healthier me.The money sounds great but at the end of the day it's all about me getting healthier.It's about me looking good and feeling good about myself again. I am a big girl at the moment.I am standing at 5'3 and weighing over 200 lbs, but I am looking forward to being smaller.Its all about Great Health.I have challenged myself by joining 2 games on here.I can do this.I will do this..I have to do this if I want to live longer in this life.I will lose weight and I will succeed at it..My God is Awesome.I am so glad I found Dietbet on Facebook. You're right about the exercise. I haven't done any yet...but that is going to change. I am bringing my tennies to work and me and one of my co-workers are going to walk everyday for 30 minutes during lunch. Yeah....I will finally get some exercise in. I know it's not a lot but its a start. I am almost at goal I need to lose another 1 and 1/2 lbs. but the glory days of starting a diet and losing a lb. a day have ended. It has adjusted to the normal rate of 1-2 lbs a week. So I really need to add that walk in if I want to win the bet. You need to get rid of all the chocolate in your house. Take it to work, give it to your friends, take that what temps you away. Stay strong on your diet and exercise. We can do this!!

Hey Kimberly!! How are you doing? I thought I would just say Hi and catch up. I am very steadily losing the lbs. and almost at goal. But I still am struggling with exercise and my pattern is to start strong and fizzle out. So I am trying to finish what I start this time, all the way til the end....which is very far off in the distance (with over 80 to lose.)

Hey Kelli,Im sorry im now just getting back with you.How have you been doing? I have been ripping and running all week. I am so tired.. I am doing good with the exercise.The food im really doing good on, but the chocolate not so good. I am addicted to chocolate.I am working on it but I am a work in progress.Im sticking to the plan..Prepping my meals every week if I can stop the sweets I will be doing really good. Kelli hang in there. Why dont you plan on doing 30 minutes of exercise for 5 days a week either in the morning or the evening.You can do it Kelli...You have to focus on it. Its not easy but it can be done.Im kind of close to my goal but I am still going..

Congrats on getting started!! Make sure to record your weight and as many measurements as you can take (arms/legs/waist/hips...). Later, when you are having a tough day, you can look back and see your progress! A very powerful thing. Also record workout minutes or distance or whatever shows you how you get fitter and stronger. I am glad that I did, so I can always compare myself to my old 'me' and appreciate the progress.
