I have been battling Sarcoidosis since 1990. I've always held my own until I got sick with Neurosarcoidosis (swelling on the brain) in 2009. Since then, I haven't been able to work like I used to, but I do what I can to make ends meet. In September, I had another flare-up. I've been suffering with headaches, persistent cough, shortness of breath, and severe lower back pain due to excessive weight gain from taking Prednisone. I'm also dealing with insomnia too.
