DAY 12 - Yesterday was a very interesting day!!! I woke up feeling good (even though I had only gotten 2 hours of sleep thanks to this blasted persistent cough), and my plan was to be very productive (work on vacation packages, get paperwork out to clients who are going on a cruise at the end of the month, etc), but it didn't happen that way. My sister stopped by for a visit around 10am, and although I knew I wouldn't get anything done while she was there, I allowed it because it's not too often that she comes by, and I wanted to see her. :-)
We laughed and talked for a while, and by 12:30pm, I asked her if she'd like to join me for eggs with cheese for lunch, and she said yes. She really enjoyed them too!!! After eating them, she said that she's gonna make hers the same way I do for now on!!! LOL!!!
Anyway, she had to take care of some business, so she asked if I didn't mind going with her. I said: "Sounds cool to me. All I'm gonna be doing is working anyway. It'll be nice to get out of the house for a change." So off we went!!! She made several stops shopping and paying bills, and around 4pm, she dropped me off back home. Somehow or another I ended up with her cell phone in my pocket (we both have a Galaxy), and once I realized that I had it, I decided to wait at least 30 minutes hoping she would come back to my house to get it. When she didn't show up, I decided to go to her place. She didn't show up til 6:30pm. When my nephew saw me, he said that his mom had lost her phone, and I told him that she didn't lose it; I had it in my coat pocket!!! LOL!!! She was outside parking her car, but when she heard that I had it, she ran into the building, gave me a big hug and said: "Girl, we're going to Thai 101!!!" She kept saying: "THANK YOU!!! THANK YOU!!! THANK YOU!!!" Funny thing is, she did go to my house; only she went after I had already left & went to hers. LOL!!! Anyway, back to Thai 101!!!
My sister knows that I'm working on GETTIN MY SEXY BACK (LOL!!!), but she was sooo excited about getting her phone back that she wanted to take me to my favorite Thai restaurant!!! I didn't object because I LOVE THAI 101, and I haven't eaten any Thai food since last May. They make the best basil fried rice with chicken, and their curry puffs are to die for (ground chicken with potatoes, onions, herbs, and spices)!!! YUMMY!!! LOL!!! The food was sooo good that I ate ALL OF IT!!! I purposely avoided ordering a drink because I didn't want to end up having 2!!! LOL!!!
After dinner, I went back to her house to watch a movie (now it's after 8pm). My nephew told me that he was making fried oreos, so I said: "OH YEAH!!! I've never tasted them and I've already gone off track, so BRING 'EM ON"!!! I know I should have said "No Thanks", but I wanted to taste them. I'm glad I did too because those cookies were ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!! I knew I was gonna pay for it today, but it's all good!!! I made a conscious decision to indulge in all of that forbidden, good food, and I don't have ANY REGRETS!!! Today is a new day for new beginnings, and I'm back on track!!! :-)
Well, when I weighed in yesterday, I weighed 230.8, but when I weighed myself this morning, I weighed 232.8!!! YIKES!!! I GAINED 2 POUNDS!!! I knew that was gonna happen because I didn't drink a lot of water and I ate stuff I wasn't supposed to. Hey: It is what it is!!! LOL!!! I'll see what happens tomorrow....
Overall, it was still a good day!!! :-)
