Do what you need to do to get back on track. You can do it! Also, do what works for you, but I wanted to share the idea of being forgiving and compassionate to yourself. When I changed my thinking so that an indulgent meal is no longer guilt-inducing, it made it easier to move on from it and continue with my healthy eating. Before, it'd trigger an awful feeling of failure that would make me give up because I'd already screwed up that day's eating. Now, it's just move on to the next planned healthy meal/snack as if nothing had happened.

I'm generally not TOO bad about feeling guilty and agree that that really helps in the long run. :)
