I am excited to hear how your egg fast went. If it works, I may have to try it. I need to lose 4-5 lbs to win my two DietBets that end next week. I have been bad at drinking water - so going to get my water back up to where it should be. Seems like it is so much easier to drink water when it is hot out. It is probable due to me getting more exercise when it is hot. I am going to get back to drinking more water, eating more salad, and fruit. Tonight Ruby Tuesday, so I will not eat a lot of croutons! I have to get down 2 sizes - I have a goal swimming suit for my vacation in July! It was my goal swimsuit last year and I didn't even start losing to July. We can do this! We won't give up. We are both in our 50's and started in the 200's - we can show that you can get to your goal in your 50's. Let's do this and reach our goals in 2016!

Yes we can. I won't give up. I have never been so determined in my life. I'm not a big breakfast person either but I know we need it to jump start our metabolism. What I do every morning is I eat 1-2 hard boiled eggs. Even without the fast. I can take them with me to work and eat them around 9. I wake up at 5 am. Every day but I am not ready to eat until around 9. Then I am like you it's a salad at lunch and dinner is a modification of whatever I make the family so it fits my low carb diet. It is simple and easy to follow. I don't snack and I do focus on drinking all my water while at work. I have a 24 oz cup with a permanent hard plastic straw. I think this is what helps me drink all m water -- the straw. Did you know that you can down more liquid with the use of a straw?? Also I drink room temp water cause that also allows me to drink more water because it's not so cold. Maybe this can help. Anyway I know that I have to drink /refill my 24oz cup 3 times 1 at breakfast, 1 with my lunch, and the last one before I go home. That's 75 oz of water before I get home. I then have another glass with my dinner and I keep 1 at my bedside so I'm pretty sure I am getting over 90 oz a day.

I will try the straw with room temperatur water. I drink less in winter than summer. I don't like warm drinks, except hot chocolate and I don't drink as many cold because I am always cold in winter and drinking cold stuff just makes me colder. I will work hard on my water! If I can't get to the gym, I need to turn the heat up in my house and make it feel like warm, so I will excercise when I get home. If I turn my fireplace on, my living room gets in the 80s, so that will make me not want to hide under a blanket on my couch. Water and excercise will be my goal this week!
