Excuses and choices. (I made the wrong ones)

Yup, I'm right there with you. I found that it is almost impossible to make healthy choices at a restaurant, if I don't look up the menu at home and decide on an option. More often than not, I will actually stick to that, once I am at the restaurant. My way to make restaurant food better: Instead of ordering a full meal, I will order a (warm) appetizer and a garden salad. So even in winter, it feels like warm, comforting food, but with a big pile of crunchy vitamins. I love that compromise and it's even good for me. As for the breakfast... prepare it at night. If it's already there in the morning, you will probably eat it and not waste the food. I also have issues getting started in the morning and I found out that it's partially due to low blood iron levels and low B12. Maybe you should also experiment with a few supplements and see if that helps? The most stomach-friendly option I found was Floradix Iron and Herbs (made from juice, plenty of iron and other nutrients) plus a B12 supplement. Hang in there, it will take time, but you will get into the new, healthier habits. You can do this!!

Thank you I will look into the B vitamins I think I may even have some in my counter! I think I'm going to stay clear from restaurants for a while too.
