Last night I was watching the new episode of The Biggest Loser, and I don't normally connect with people I don't know even if they are on a journey that is similar to mine but I got a little emotional watching Erin (she's the cute one with lavendar hair that was on the voice). She had this mini break through mentally after she maxed out on the treadmill.

Limitations.

She realized she had gotten to where she was because of all the limitations she set for herself because she was afraid of failure or didn't believe in her beautiful self. Some of the other ladies even made comments that they wouldn't try certain activites because of their size.

I read a fitness article a few weeks ago that mentioned we NEED to love ourselves every step of our fitness and health journeys. I am a flabby weak 238lb lady who still battles my overeatting issues, but I love myself and i no longer limit myself because of my size.

I promised myself when I got under 200lb I would try crossfit, I would REWARD myself with crossfit, I told myself when i get under 200lb I would try yoga because THEN i will be flexable and fit enough to be able to handle a slow flow session..

What was my problem? I've been doing crossfit and yoga for over a month now... best fitness choices I made, they are such amazing tools in aiding in my success and sanity and I was going to restrict myself from them because I didn't think I could handle them. Do you know how healthy I would be right now if I would've went for those things right when I set those rewards.. I would be a different person.

Do NOT set limits for yourself!

Take that belly dancing class (THAT'S NEXT FOR ME, just trying to find the classes)

Go rock climbing (maybe supervised indoors to start with)

Join that improv group! Get on stage with that beautiful self and make people's hearts happy with laughter and sillyness and randomness!

Get that gym membership with the pool! (You can handle swimming a couple laps every morning and then relaxing in the hot tub for another 10 minutes!)

DO NOT LIMIT yourself!! If something makes you excited right now go for it RIGHT NOW!! Don't lose a second of motivation and courage! Sometimes we gain it and lose it so fast that we really can't find an excuse to ignor it and let it go!

Love yourself today and your today body, and don't set restricts. Have faith in yourself and keep pushing forward. We only have this one life. Lets celebrate and live life to the fullest! Make goals, try new things, experiement in the kitchen.

Go! Go! Go!

I hope this speaks to someone, Erin spoke to me last night and i'm so happy I heard what she said.

Have a fantastic day everyone, love yourself, have courage to push forward, and have the most successful day you can!
