Things have been going pretty well. I weighed in last week at 153.6. Now, to be fair, I was at the end of my cycle, so it's possible there was still some retained water. However, since I have been hovering around 151 for the last month, I think its safe to assume that where I would have ended up. As I said before, I decided to weigh myself on day 2 of the egg fast. I was at 151.6, or there abouts. I got up the next morning and weighed myself to find I was 149.6! BARRIER BROKEN! 

Day 3 went fairly well, though I wasn't regular on my eating and found myself SUPER hungry a few times which almost spelled disaster. My son asked if he could have some Jelly Bellys (which have been my weakness lately) and I almost said, "Yea, let me have some too."  Sitting in my bed at one point, I looked over to see a Reese Cup on my nightstand my daughter had given me about a week ago. More temptation! I quickly handed it over to one of my kids. When I went to kiss my eldest goodnight, she had GIRL SCOUT COOKIES on her desk. Ohhhh...there was so much self restrained going on in my head... I was also slacking on my water intake. I'm supposed to do 100oz of water a day and by 3 in the afternoon, I had only hat 48, so I was guzzling all evening to get to that 100. I hit 92 before I fell asleep.

Day 4..well, today is day 4. For the first time so far, the thought of scrambled eggs for breakfast made me want to reach for the Special K dark chocolate in the cupboard. I ran my head through various egg options. I still had some of the egg salad in the fridge, but cold eggs sounded yucky. I decided boiled eggs, still hot, sounded the least unappitizing, so I boiled up 6 of them. I had 2 for breakfast with lite salt, and 1.5 slices of Crystal Farms sharp chedder. On this fast, they say you need to pair each egg to 1T of good fats be it coconut oil, butter, etc. I'm sure 1.5 slices wasn't 2 T of fat, but it was better than nothing. Along with this I have black tea to drink. I'm not digging the Bulletproof Coffee much.

Today I'm supposed to have the crepes for lunch. I haven't tired making them yet with regular sugar, so I might give it a whirl. The cream cheese pancakes weren't too bad, so maybe these will fly too. For a snack, I have deviled eggs. Haven't had those yet so it sounds alright. I'm looking forward to dinner though. It's Caramel Salted Custard. I made them yesterday using 1/2 tsp of sugar rather than the 1.5T substitute. I found a lady who also did this fast and blogged it and that was what she used. She said it tasted pretty good, so here's hoping. I'm expecting it to be not near as sweet as it should be, but at least it will be palatable. I hope. 

Oh yea, I weighed myself this morning. I'm at 148. That's 1.6 lbs. down from yesterday! I'm both happy, and a bit fearful. I know that on day 6 I should expect some of the weight to come back as I'm moving out of only egg fast and into lchf, but I'm rather scared half, if not all, of the weight will come back. The blogger who's diet I'm following said she lost 7.5 and only gained back .5, but since my body just seems to be all manner of chaotic, I'm still worried. Fingers crossed! One more day of strict eggs and then I'll get something NEW.
