My first day of low carb (under 30/day) was ok, but I had a headache and felt pretty weak. My second day was worse and I broke down and dug into a bag of Pirate's Booty to fix my cravings. That was very bad of me!

My third day went pretty well! I had a good amount of energy and my headache was pretty minimal. This morning I woke up and had TONS of energy, and normally I am not a morning energy person. There's still some bits of a headache but things are starting to improve.

Why am I doing a low carb diet? Because I'm breaking up with my carb and sugar addiction. More and more science is pointing to a low fat, high carb diet is bad for us and I was a complete carb junky. There's a Facebook forum called Ketogenic Dieters that I'm participating in for ideas and education.

My goal is to try this out for a couple months and see how I feel, what my bloodwork looks like, and how my weight and strength change. It is going to be so hard to give up 1/2 of my favorite foods but I'm hopeful that I'll see the results I'm hoping for!
