I've never written a blog post before but I figured that writing about my journey will help myself to stay on track and stay accountable for my actions.  I'm excited for this!  This is my first DietBet.  I believe that with money on the line and knowing that I have friendly competion/support I will certainly maintain my motivation longer than when I try to diet alone.  

My biggest problem is when I have a slip or a "bad day" where I skip a workout, or eat something that wasn't healthy.  After that I tend to just give up, like I ruined everything.  But I read a quote the other day that said "Giving up on your goal because of one setback is like slashing your other three tires because you got a flat."  I'm going to try to remember this when I'm feeling defeated, and regroup and refocus on the goal.
