Remotivating is hard work!

I use my journaling to give myself a pat on the back. Writing down what I've accomplished, especially when I struggled to stay on track, helps me feel good about my own decisions and keeps me going. Having someone acknowledge the fact that I struggled and managed to work through it, also boosts my ego to maintain my goals. That, and I can look back and see what I've done, how I felt, and how I tackled issues in the past. It's like using the Journal to compete with yourself.

That's such a smart way to think of it! I thought it would be a great way to be conscientious to record how I behaved in relation to goals on a daily basis. Such a smart decision to use it for historical purposes! Thank you!
