Strayed for a little while but I have returned to the best lifestyle I have found for me - Low Carb High Fat (sometimes known as Atkins or Ketogenic).

Day one consisted of 2 hamburger patties with a slice of cheese for breakfast.

Lunch was this veggie/chicken stir fry thing my husband makes with cheese and cream cheese and spices. Very yummy.

Dinner was the rest of the husband's cooking.

Total for today is 2407 calories, 24g carbs, 11g fiber (13g Net carbs!!), 180g fat, and 182g protein to bring my percentages to 67.3% fat, 30.2% protein, and 3.5% carbs.

That is actually in line with Induction! I overdid it a bit with the protein, though. I am supposed to have .8-1 g/lb of lean body mass and my lean body mass is 150lb.

Managed to stop myself from buying a cream cheese danish - I have a limited sweet tooth but when it rears its ugly head it really rears high. I walked away from the machine and didn't get it!

Not yet weaned off of Diet Mountain dew. Down from 3-4L a day to just 5-6 cans, though. It will be a long time til I can be fully off of these soda. The caffeine withdrawal is the worst. I don't drink coffee - can't stand the taste of it - so this is me going straight to nothing but water!

Going on vacation with my mother next week - she is also eating low carb so our restaurants will have those options, thankfully.

Planning on starting another fat fast tomorrow to throw me into ketosis quicker. Going to eat nothing but shirataki noodles with habanero cheese, butter, and cream cheese. A cup of beef broth if I get the 'low carb flu'. Going to kick this weight off for good!
