I'm being terribly optimistic before the weigh-in, let alone the start, but I'm already excited,
It's great having to be accountable to other people (instead of just penciling in goals in my head, and silently going back on them)
and knowing that if it works out, it's not just to brush away some of my own bugaboos,
but that it can lend a small helping hand to the dogs I stare at online every day,
wishing I could bring one home. (next year! next year!) A bit extra, just in time for Christmas.
