The dietbet starts tomorrow, so why am I scouring for Baumkuchen online?

Thank god it's not easily available -- I'm not hopping on the train 4 hours to Germany to get cake --

or I'd have a really fun time stacking the deck against myself.

Way to go self-sabotage machine. I thought I'd turned you off years ago.

I drove 2 hrs. to get cookies.....COOKIES......all the way thinking
"what the hell is wrong with me" but I didn't turn around ...just kept on driving,
And of course once I arrived for my cookies,....
I bought enough to last a Month...well a week for me.
But again what the hell is wrong with me???
I feel so bad after I shove them in my face....so disappointed in myself....

The good part.....I've been here in DB since Sept & haven't had a cookie or candy since I started ;)) I've lost weight, made my money back plus ;)) ....made friends & am finally liking myself again ;))

Since you were smart enough not to hop on the train, I know you got this ;))
Your going to do great & reach your goal ;)))

You guys are absolutely right. It's looking at this the other way around that works: that BECAUSE I'm on DB right now, I won't be doing the usual 'oooh, now I must get that yummy thing I am currently obsessed with'. That's a great way of thinking about it. Thanks!

Because, oh, ho, my usual mode would be to then get majorly obsessed (whether it's ch-ch cookie, or my own pie crust, or scones, or the best stew, etc etc), and decide to "MAKE IT MYSELF/ get it for treats from this obscure place - this will be awesome!" and make the next month all about that.
