So yesterday I was sick and missed my goal of at least a 5 minute workout. Well today is another day of feeling bad. I think I feel worse than yesterday, but I have some wins for the day.
1st win. My boss ordered pizza for the office staff for lunch, asked me what type I would like I said no thanks I don't want pizza I am just going out for a salad. He was nice enough to order me a salad instead. I stayed away from the pizza and enjoyed a wonderful spinach salad.
2nd Win. I came home from work ready to get into bed, so I took a long hot bath, decided I was hungry and heated up my chicken veggies soup that was made earlier this week. Enjoyed the hot soup and I felt a little better, not great, but better. I decided I can't go two days in a row missing my promise. So I did my 10 minutes easy walk video. It was all I could do, but at least I got my 5 minutes plus.
I know a lot of you might think that isn't much, but it is mindset that I am trying to change not just my weight. Saying no to others when it isn't a choice I want to make for myself, and pushing through and not giving in. That is what I did today. I said no to the pizza and I pushed through and did the small work out. I am now ready for bed but I won't be fretting about not making it. I made it.
Hoping I feel better tomorrow so that I can get to my kick boxing class and have a great work out.
