Wow, I am feeling fantastic!  Today is day 14 of eating healthy and making good choices.  I have worked out the past 7 days with no hesitation (thank you gympact!).  Things are going well to say the least.  I can barely believe it!  I am sheepishly looking over my shoulder waiting for everything to go up in smoke, but so far so good.  Knock on wood!

 

I have two dietbets going:

Dietbet #1 (1/1-1/28):

start weight: 150.6

current weight: 145

weight lost: 5.6 lbs

93% to dietbet goal! (.4 lbs to go with 17 days to go!)

Dietbet #2 (1/12-2/8):

start weight - 145

Need to lose 5.8 lbs (28 days to go!)

 

I'm really pleased because I didn't think the weight would come off so quickly (even though that's the point of the game).  I know it will slow and maybe stall but frankly I expected that to happen already!  Instead, my body is surprising me by continuing to shed weight.  And I don't feel weak or hungry or cranky!  I see so many people posting on the boards that they are struggling but I miraculously can't relate this time (I feel a little guilty).  I know I might be singing a different tune in a few days but for now I'm loving it! 

I cleaned out my closet over the weekend and pulled out at least 10 pairs of pants that are too tight.  I've boxed them up for now, but I can't wait to lose some more weight and try them on again.  It's great to diet and not feel frustrated and hungry and hopeless.  I feel full of optimism and determination!  Woohoo!
