I remember this time a year ago I had joined a Baptiste yoga studio and was plugging away at a 40day challenge based on Baron Baptiste's book '40 days'. We were doing yoga at least 5 days a weeks while excavating in groups and basically working on ourselves. I had this idea that 40 days of hot yoga would whip me into shape in no time. Well one thing led to another and winter blues got the better of me in many ways, bad weather made it hard to get to the studio, things went off kilter, the excavation sessions were depleting, BUT at the same time so much good ended up coming out of it all.

Where I'm going with all this, is that one thing usually leads to another and we tend to end up where we need to be for one reason or another. What we intend to do going in doesn't always end up being the end game but sometimes it can be a transition point to something better or more fitting. I didn't lose a lb on that 40day journey but I worked through things that probably needed to be addressed at that time. I made strong friendships too and also realized I'd rather do one-on-one strength training than group hot yoga. The journey has just meandered from there onwards to the here and now. Finally I'm on track, where I want and need to be.

I see other members talk about them doing this, trying that, eventually something came to a head and here we are, all in the same place doing the same thing. There's a reason for that, whatever it may be. The great thing is ... What could this success ultimately channel you into from here onwards? If success here is met, what's next? Isn't that exciting to think about, because it could be completely unexpected!
