So I pushed myself this evening and instead of doing my 15 minute walking followed by my 10 minute walking program, I did the 15 minute one twice back to back then went and did the 10 minute one.  I got a good sweat on.  Pushing myself to do more and work harder is difficult.  When I look back I have really improved a lot.

I got my fitbit on December 27 and I began the walking programs, at first I could only do the 10 minute program and it was hard to do, I don't remember when I went to the 15 minute program but I added that in, and then I started doing both.  I guess now I need to try the 30 minute but I am going to wait until the end of next week. I want to continue doing the double 15 and 10 for a week before I up the intensity of the 30 minute. It has more moves and is a faster pace.

I am proud of how I am doing and that I have stuck with this for 6 weeks now. I have 46 more weeks this year to get even stronger. I am not planning on any big marathons or even doing a 5k, through it does cross my mind and I do live in track town USA. I believe there is some kind of 5 k every weekend around here.  As I am writing this I am thinking, why am I scared to do a 5k is it because of my weight, I believe so.  Maybe I should start training for one.  I need to choose one for this summer and start working for it.

I can't believe I just came to this realization I want to do a 5k and I want to work towards that.

So what would you like to start to do? How are you pushing yourself to do more and get stronger?
