That's great! I just semi-committed myself to a 5k yesterday - a friend mentioned she wants to put together a team for the Susan G Komen walk in my town in June. And I found myself blurting out - "I'll do that with you!" I walked a 5k a year and a half ago - it was doable. You could definitely do it if you are doing 45 mins to an hour at a brisk walking pace. My goal is to jog it. I can't jog even a quarter mile right now. Heck, I think a tenth of a mile jog might lead me to collapse in exhaustion! But I'm going to do the couch to 5k plan, I think.... after a few more weeks of walking and increasing my pace. Another dietbetter suggested buying a beginner training 5k app and I think I will.
