Great observation! I only weigh once a week for the same reason. Getting obsessed with the scale is not healthy. I try and focus on my body, how I feel, what I'm eating and my fitness goals. Those are my best measures of success, and the scale tends to follow. If it doesn't, then I refocus and what, and how much I'm eating.
