So I ended the dietbet for one of the diets.  I didn't reach my goal unfortunately.  That is a bummer because I tried.  Despite not having much time to work out, I made every effort to walk where I needed to go, and increase my activity level by a lot.  A WHOLE lot.  I feel like the ball is rolling.  I have that feeling of "I can't wait to go workout."  And even though I still crave sweet things, it isn't as powerful.  Also, since I did a great job of recording the food I ate and was on the scale constantly, I feel like I got to know my body a little better.  However, I think too much emphasis was on the scale.  Yes, I started my cycle, and hormones play a role in your weight, but I think stepping on the scale almost everyday was a HUGE factor in me not achieving my goal weight.  It took the challenge and fun out of it, and I feel like that decision contributed to me not losing weight as fast.  Live and learn.  This go around, I'm not going to be on the scale fifty million times a week.  I'm only going to be on their once a week.  That is sufficient.
