These past days have been our coldest here in North Carolina, snow, ice, school closures etc, it's been hectic! Being a native of South Africa I don't handle cold weather well at all. I've been living in pros and cons these past few days:


sleep in

get to gym later than 5:30 am 

time off from work which means time for cardio

have to stock up anyway so great time to knock out shopping

have time to cook meals to stick to plan



Sun is deceiving, it is waaaayyyy too cold to run outdoors

time to lay around, be cozy and snack


if following said pros I should A not have any junk food laying around

and B have already done my cardio and strength so deserve the down time!

take away: bad weather is not ALL bad!
