well I am new to this diet bet weight loss approach so far the people seem so encouraging which is exactly what I need right now. 

I am starting this challenge because I keep finding excuses as why not to exercise or eat healthy.  Over the past 14 months I have had 2 ankle fusion surgeries 2 heart attacks and a bone infection in my ankle where one of the screws is located. I went from 4 prescriptions to 14 prescriptions. One goal I have is to get healthy enough to be off these meds and I can only do that through a proper diet and exercise regime that will allow me to change my life style habits. I start the challenge on March 10 2015 so let's see if I can do it this time I know I will face some struggles but I can and will adapt and over come these challenges. I am over 50 so that means I just need to spend extra time on the bike and in the pool and I can't ignore the strength training as well.

well I woke up late I forgot my phone in my car last night and since like most people I use my phone for everything including my alarm clock. I was suppose to go to the gym this morning and walk in the pool since I can't swim or run but the pool classes start at 7 am which is the time I woke up. Major bummer however NO MORE EXUSES right. Right so instead of going to the YMCA I am going to work out at home I will ride my stationary bike 30 minutes today and I will workout on my bow flex today plus I will do my crunches and reverse crunches 2sets of 20. 

Since I have gotten older i realize I can no longer just go all out with the exercising like I used to when I was younger. This is part of the adapting and over coming. 

Pre-workout food is a boiled egg 1 cup of spinach 1 serving steel cut oatmeal with 1scoop of unflavored protein powder and a 1/4 cup of blueberries 1 bottle of water 17oz. Plus a cup of black coffee. Wow just looking at it written out looks like a lot.
