Day 22

You know I was thinking the other day. I can't imagine what it would be like to write day 100 on my blog. lol. Seriously I have never stuck to something for this long. And you are thinking what three weeks?! Yes this is amazing for me. It's like it clicked after trying to lose weight since I was what 11 years old? I've dedicated so much of my mental energy and money to losing weight that it's not even funny. I don't want to be constantly trying to figure out the fastest most economical way of losing weight. I AM SO DONE WITH THAT. Yes its going to take time. Yes it's going to be painful but I cannot wait for the day that I am no longer constantly thinking about my weight. I know that maintenance is hard and that also takes work but I will be able to focus on more things than just weight loss.

I had a good day at work yesterday. BTW I consider a good day at work nothing bad happening lol. Breakfast was coffee and milk with clean egg muffins. Lunch was rice, curry and fried chicken. It was bomb. I got home after work and guess what the weather was like!! It was raining! AGAIN. Ugh. But whatever. Didn't let that stop me. You know once you get out there and you are raining it is shit but there's also another part of you that can't stop smirking or thinking how much of a bad ass you are. I'm not joking it was pouring outside. People in their cars must have thought I was crazy. But I am tired of making excuses. The only reason I should have for sitting out a scheduled run is an injury. Thank goodness that has been avoided so far.

If you really stick with running, I have found that you can see results in just a few weeks. By results I mean improving your speed and endurance. I wasn't going to tell anyone but hey why not?! I am currently training for a marathon. Which one you ask? It's MY Marathon. On August 9th I will be running 42 kilometers by myself. Why to prove to myself that I can do it. I know I can!!! Also this thought really helps me on the days that the weather is really shitty. lol
