I've been overweight my entire life and have no idea what my ideal weight "should be" other than arbitrary BMI numbers. When I try to visualize a goal weight, the best I can do is think of a clothing size that will allow me to buy an outfit from almost any store. Right now I'm thinking a size 12, but who knows. Just gotta wait and see where trusting the process will take me.

I would definitely focus on living a healthy lifestyle in general and the rest will follow! Find eating habits that you can maintain for the rest of your life, not just a diet! Also try to figure out workouts that you love and you can keep up with a couple times a week forever!

BMI is very misleading. It was never intending to give information on fitness. Have you heard of Go Kaleo? It's a blog about fitness and not fat shaming or gimmicks. I ran into it on Facebook a few months back and reading some of her posts really helped me feel better about me and sort out body standards and such. Let me see if I can put in a link.... https://gokaleo.com/?s=ideal+weight&submit=SearchWell, the link didn't work quite right, but maybe copy and paste will work, or just search for it. :-) Good luck and Happy first day of Spring!
