3 months Postpartum and 1 month post "fixed" and all I can say is OWW!

Wow!!! Gigglesgurl7014, I love your blog!!! I'm sooo proud of you for putting forth the effort to get started on your workout routine again, but please take it easy!!! You had a C-section & a tubal ligation, & although the outside has healed, it really takes up to a year for your insides to be completely healed. (Worked in OB/GYN for over 23 years - Administration with a medical background). It has been a while since you did some serious working out & your body has changed, so please try not to overdo it. Gradually increase your exercises so that your body can adjust to it. Start with the C25k app. That will definitely get you moving!!! For now, put most of your focus on making healthy food choices & walking/dancing, & as you lose weight, start incorporating running in your exercise routine. I know what you're capable of, but I'm also thinking of the procedures you had done too. (Remember: Diet is 80%, & exercise is 20%.) As you're losing weight & setting running goals, it will become easier for you to do (you scared me when you said you had tightness in your chest - please be careful). (I'm your friend, & I hope you don't mind me keeping it real with you.) Gigglesgurl7014, you already know that I got your back!!! HUGS & LOVE TO YOU MAMACITA!!! :-)

wouldn't walking first be better? LOWER impact? you can get a lot of good benefits from walking especially if you are trying to BUILD YOURSELF UP AGAIN!

You're very welcome Gigglesgurl7014!!! I only want what's best for you & your health, so PLEASE pay attention to your body. If you feel pain regardless to what you're doing - STOP!!! I know you're gonna take good care of yourself because you don't want any setbacks. I can see you running that 1/2 marathon!!! GOOO GIGGLESGURL714 GOOO!!! YOU CAN & WILL BE READY TO DO IT BY MARCH!!! And as far as the carb cycling goes, you can still lose 10 pounds by weigh-in. Make sure you're drinking plenty of water, & when you feel bloated, drink some Dandelion root tea. Good luck mamacita!!! You got this!!! :-)
