no one actually wins the pot, though, right? so it doesn't totally matter how big it is?

Whoever reaches goal shares in the pot. If we all reach goal, we’ll get our original bet back.

Jane B.

And if only a few people reach their goal, they split the whole pot:)
Of course we wish everyone success

Hi. I'm glad to be here participating in this game. My strategy is to eat very little sugar or other processed carbohydrates, keep to an eating window of about 6 hours per day (a daily fast of about 18 hours), do one weekly 24-hour water fast, and do light exercise daily.

Wow! 18 hours is no joke. I’m striving for 14 hours and the struggle is real!

Naomi D.

I love IF. Though I've been doing terrible at it this year, so trying to up my motivation. 18hr/day fasts are awesome, so easy to fit into daily routine.

Isn’t it amazing how quickly starting weight gets verified as compared to ending weight?! 😂

I was just thinking the same thing. Mine was verified in 4 minutes

Good luck everyone!
What are some non-scale goals you working on for this bet?
My main focus is curbing my sugar and processed foods consumption and also paying attention to my water intake.

I have the same goals as you & then some. I’m making my plate with enough food but not counting calories ( I hate that ) I’m doing 2 meals a day. If I need more, a small snack. Drinking water, herbal teas, kombucha etc. joined more games today which means more money on the line. All but my transformer ends before my mini vacay in April. I want to win money & also look good for my trip win win!! Best luck to you

  • Happy Friday! We are so close… just a few more days left. This is the home stretch, so let’s keep going and not let the weekend or the Super Bowl sneak us off track.

If you’re watching the game, you can still enjoy snacks and stay in a good place. A few easy swaps:
Veggies with Greek yogurt ranch or hummus
Buffalo chicken dip made lighter with Greek yogurt
    Air-popped popcorn
Turkey or chicken sliders wrapped in lettuce
    Deviled eggs or hard-boiled eggs
Homemade nachos with baked chips and extra veggies

Enjoy the game, enjoy the weekend, and keep that goal in sight. Stay consistent, stay mindful, and let’s finish strong and claim that victory.

    Final Weigh-Ins: February 9-10

Could i request maybe an extra week?!?! I am 4 pounds down. But still have 2 to go. That’s the thing with DietBet, sometimes you lose but still lose…. A lose-win-lose situation

DietBet Gina

Ughh. I totally understand. I'll cross my fingers for ya.

I'm trying really hard! I'm following an anti inflammatory diet, lots of veggies, clean protein, healthy oils, herbs spices. I'm sprint training 4x /week with calisthenics outside at -28degrees C. Weekends are for yoga.I'm sleeping better, but not perfect, trying to find moments to be in a parasympathetic state. My gut feels amazing, my inflammation is very slowly getting better, but my weight won't budge! I did a body composition and my percent fat actually went up!!! Perimenopause and stress is frustrating! But I know I'm somewhat getting healthier.Hopefully my weight will drop soon! Consistency they say is the key!

Are you drinking lots of water ?

Michelle S.

It is so frustrating! I had to start keeping track of my macros and that was the only thing that helped. It takes awhile to break through though!
