I avoided carbs at Christmas dinner asking for the Impossible Burger without the bun and choosing veggies instead of potatoes as my side. My meal came with a dessert and I followed the three-bite rule donating the rest of the dessert to my boyfriend.
What do you feel you could have done better this week?
I had regular pasta for the first time since June because I was struggling with my emotions and it affected my body significantly. I simply cannot do carbs at dinner without paying the price.

I have to get my emotions under control. I’ve been penniless for six months thanks to unemployment not sending me my pandemic benefits and it really affected my Thanksgiving and Christmas. If it weren’t for my boyfriend and my friends I would have already lost everything.
