I have to be in the games actively continuoulsly. :( Otherwise I am having hard time refusing to the dinner invites, graduation invites, etc and gaining them back unbelievably. How do you guys refuse the social invites politely and/or how do you keep yourself from touching the food at parties when they are pushing the plates to your face?
Help!

It’s so hard. There is no easy way around it. I like to be social, so when I’m at a party or out with friends I just avoid carbs, but otherwise don’t restrict the amount that I eat. Yes, I am that girl eating queso with a spoon at a Mexican restaurant haha!

I don't think refusing all social events is a long-term solution. They are part of real life and so important for mental health. It would be better to participate at least sometimes, do your best not to overeat, and then get back on track. Go in with a plan, have one plate of food, mostly protein and veggies, eat lighter the rest of the day etc.

Hi there, I am planning to travel in June/July and I might have to bring the different scale than I usually use (smaller, the travel size) with me to weight-in while I am away from home. I just want to make sure if it is ok to do so? Or should I inform the dietbet team prior to the trip? Thank you,

Hi there, you can totally weigh in on a different scale when you are traveling! We have had players take a scale along on their travels, use their hotel scale, or use a tester scale in a store. It is about what works for you.
Depending on your travel dates, we may also be able to offer an early weigh in. Please reach out to support@waybetter.com if that is something you are interested in. :)
