How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

I have to be in the games actively continuoulsly. :( Otherwise I am having hard time refusing to the dinner invites, graduation invites, etc and gaining them back unbelievably. How do you guys refuse the social invites politely and/or how do you keep yourself from touching the food at parties when they are pushing the plates to your face?

I went to a farewell luncheon yesterday at a local restaurant that I love. I looked at the menu and decided that there was nothing I should eat or what I wanted was going to blow out my diet plans, so, I didn’t order. Instead I mingled from table to table and spent time with my co-worker who was leaving.

In the past, we have also gone out to dinner with our cousins about every other month. Now, I invite them over and I make the dinner. I feel better about being in control of the food and portions so this change has really worked out well for us. In addition, we all save money.

When going to an event, I make sure I eat a huge salad before I go. That way I’m not hungry and able to make better food choices or take smaller portions.
