  • I went a little off track with nutrition today, but honestly, it was worth it! ????

I went to a conference that only happens once a year. They served us breakfast and lunch. They asked to let them know about food allergies ahead of time. So I let them know about my wheat allergy, and how most gluten free items are usually wheat free too. And then they had a whole section of gluten free items!

Some of them were mini gf donuts that I love, but haven’t bought in so long because they are like $9 for a tiny little container.

They also served fajitas for lunch which I mostly just at the protein, and veggies. But still, I was overly excited about all the food, and definitely over consumed. It was very enjoyable. Ahaha.

Anyways, back on track tomorrow. 😆

This is the reason I aim to live a 90/10 lifestyle. I never get mad at myself or feel guilty because I make good decisions 90% of the time.

  • Let's talk about and idea that may be a little controversial... I'd love to get your thoughts. Do you agree with this weight loss tip?

👉 First focus on nutrition, then exercise.

    The idea is twofold:

    1. Cutting calories can cause fatigue and you may be too tired to workout. Which can also lead to giving up altogether.

    2. At the beginning of your weight loss plan, you should focus on your diet because it matters more. Putting all your energy into healthy eating, you set yourself up for quicker results and staying motivated longer.

What do you think? Is that good advice? Share your thoughts!
Also, leave a 1 below if you're focused on nutrition now or a 2 if you're more focused on exercise.

I am a 1 for sure right now. I had a knee injury and surgery that lead me to spending 8 weeks on my side in bed. The only thing that kept my weight under control was my food awareness.
