For the past 2 days at the end of my treadmill walk, I RAN! 30 seconds yesterday and 60 seconds today. The thing is -I don’t run. Not on purpose. Last time was freshman year in High School for soccer. Circa 1997. I’m very proud of myself no matter how short of a time it was.

    We’re a few days in now! How’s everyone feeling? Sometimes the first week feels exciting and motivating… and sometimes it feels like “okay wow, I forgot this takes effort.” Both are normal.

    This week isn’t about perfection. It’s about building rhythm. Getting back into routines that make you feel good. Going to bed a little earlier. Drinking a little more water. Moving your body even when you don’t feel like it.

    Spring doesn’t bloom overnight. It happens gradually. Steadily. That’s what we’re doing here.

I did skip the drive-through today, and instead, I stopped in at the ShopRite and grabbed tuna and low-carb wraps and had one of those for lunch

I’m going for about 1500 kcal. Strength training is steady, but gradual increases (love my Hevy app). I want to do more walking and running in March with the highly anticipated better weather!
