Plan ahead as much as possible---like bringing something really delicious that you and everyone else will love and want to eat--that can keep you from feeling deprived. Good luck this weekend!

What worked for me at the last birthday party was carrying a bottle of water around and having cut up veggies near by. I tried more to concentrate on the event and not the food. 4.4 pounds is great by the way! Best of luck :-)
