Oh man, we have a snack cabinet at work too! Luckily there is a one item a day limit, and they do have some healthier options, but it's sooo hard to resist the pull of Twix when I open it. So I try to just not open it. Good luck resisting! :)

See that's what I need is a snack cabinet limit/gatekeeper that will shame me away when I go off the deep end!

They days I do good I'm super proud but it's still this huge act of will power. Hopefully it will get easier the longer we stick with it : )

Blessings to you in your journey. So many things about your story resonated with me. I, too, am a former (at this point) athlete who's always let food get the best of me. It's never been working out that's the problem--it's my food intake. And, my mom makes the best food and pushes it. Ha. And, my weight has hugely fluctuated, especially upward since hitting my mid-thirties. So, I'm doing this lose weight thing AGAIN!
