Well, further phone call from doctor: Diabetes and high cholesterol confirmed, alongside poor thyroid and liver. HbA1c was 107 mmol/L, Thyroid TSH was 5.84 mU/L, and I think T3 was 15.3 pmol/L, fasting cholesterol was 5.4 mmo;/L total, LDL was 2.9, trigs were 3.3, Liver ALT was 45. To be put onto metformin and cholesterol medication, with further liver test next week and further cholesterol tests in 4 weeks. It's all motivation to lose weight.

Doing a science based approach to my health from here on, losing weight is the hugest part of that, but I've been checking on some supplements to help various issues also....spent hours at it! Think I'm done now.... 10 of them I already had, but wasn't very disciplined at taking until this last week. The other 7 will be new next week. I'm turning my life around, and need every edge I can get. I want to stun my doc in three months.
