3 weeks ago I sprained my ankle and activity went to a stand still...and my motivation. Have gained 15 pounds back. When you don't focus it happens so easily. I am able to start back walking and ready to get back on track. 8 weeks to anniversary trip!

Hurt my back last night, slept wrong and tweaked it or something. It happens often but takes forever to feel normal again. Does anyone have any back stretches that they do that really knocks them right back?? Thanks !!

Sorry about your back but I’m glad you asked about this. I had a back injury to Crossfit 3years ago. Just had baby #4 and I feel I need some attention on my back/core. Good info in this thread. Hope you’re feeling better!

I do hello fresh sometimes. It's more calorific than I'd like, honestly, and a lot of their meals boil down to being a lot of carbs and too much fat. Tbh, lean cuisines are good, especially with slight edits? I like getting some of the southwest style ones (enchiladas or something like that) and having it with fresh salsa and some shredded lettuce.

What do people do when they are hungry, but have used up their daily calorie allowance? So far, tips were: Drink water, brush teeth, exercise (then you can eat something whilst maintaining net calories).

I would suggest adding more protein into your daily intake to keep you full longer. I've tried counting calories but get too consumed and almost ocd about it that I had to adjust to meal planning with thinking about just healthy, clean, and protein rich. If you're actually hungry, you might need to up your calorie intake in my opinion. I'm not a nutritionist or doc, just sharing my experience.


I fail if I don’t calorie count. I did start intermittent fasting which I strongly encourage you to look into. As for snacks, I love peanut butter and pb2 powder is great mixed with water on apples. We also love guacomole and hummus with pretzel thins or veggies. I’m a huge coffee drinker so I love black flavored coffee which gives me a treat without calories.
