  • Goal accomplished: 30 consecutive days with at least 90 minutes on the elliptical. I’ve never done that long of streak with >60 minutes of cardio exercise before.

Honestly I’m tempted to keep this going. I had an arch issue around day 20 but I’ve been fine every day other than that. Ideally I’ll be back to a treadmill when I drop 20 more lbs but for now the elliptical can be both my best friend and my most hated boss.

Whatever streak you’re in keep it up!

The elliptical is my absolute favorite machine for cardio! I do 60 minutes but you’re on a whole other beast level with 90 minutes :open_mouth::fire: keep up the good work :muscle:

  • Let's talk about and idea that may be a little controversial... I'd love to get your thoughts. Do you agree with this weight loss tip?

👉 First focus on nutrition, then exercise.

    The idea is twofold:

    1. Cutting calories can cause fatigue and you may be too tired to workout. Which can also lead to giving up altogether.

    2. At the beginning of your weight loss plan, you should focus on your diet because it matters more. Putting all your energy into healthy eating, you set yourself up for quicker results and staying motivated longer.

What do you think? Is that good advice? Share your thoughts!
Also, leave a 1 below if you're focused on nutrition now or a 2 if you're more focused on exercise.

I am a 1 for sure right now. I had a knee injury and surgery that lead me to spending 8 weeks on my side in bed. The only thing that kept my weight under control was my food awareness.
