  • Happy Wednesday, friends!
We’re a little ways into this journey now, so it’s the perfect time for a quick nutrition check-in.
Take a moment today to think back to the plans you made at the start of the game:
    - Have you been able to stick with them?
    - Or are they feeling a little too restrictive or hard to maintain?
There’s no judgment here! This is just a chance to reflect and adjust.
Remember, the most successful approach (especially in a 6-month game!) is one that’s balanced and sustainable. If something feels too strict, it might be time to tweak it. You don’t have to be perfect, you just have to be consistent.

Are you fueling your body with foods that make you feel good?
    💧 Staying hydrated?
🍫 Allowing room for real life and balance?
This is a long game, and the goal is to build habits you can actually stick with. Small, realistic changes will always beat an all-or-nothing mindset.

Drop a comment if you’ve made any adjustments this week or if you need help finding that balance. We’re in this together.

Challenging few weeks with overconsumption in social settings. Getting back to basics

I’ve made several changes to my diet and I’m doing well (at this point I am working on next month’s goal)!

I do get very strict at times but then give myself a little freedom (like sushi lunch out today - healthy choice but still managed to dine out). As long as I’m on track for goals, I’ve been having a cocktail or glass of wine every now and then. I find the occasional “treats” help so I don’t feel deprived.

This is a slack week for me so indulging a little but watching the scale every day.

On Sunday I was 0.4 lbs away from my goal. I knew it would be tough but doable to get it by Monday. I hydrated, got a lot of activity in, and had a good calorie deficit. Yesterday when I weighed to submit I was 1.6 lbs over. I was so frustrated and spent the day wallowing. Today is a new day and the self pity is gone. I am extra motivated to get round two!

I hate when that happens!!! Good job getting back on track. Onward and upwar...errr....downward!!

Not that this helps but I usually weigh in the morning and I was up this morning. I stuck to my plan and took my walk breaks at work. I got home and I was down. Weigh yourself multiple times a day the next weigh in but don’t report until it is down. My weight fluctuates daily and during the day. I hope you get it next month!
